We strive to work collaboratively with staff, students, and community to serve the needs of our students effectively. We realize, however, that occasionally there may be disagreements. We have created a procedure to follow in such instances in order to ensure that the disagreement is resolved quickly and effectively. The procedure is outlined in Board Policy 402.12 (PDF Document).

Precincts - Polling Places

The Board of Education consists of five members representing 2 North, 2 South and 1 At-Large Director Districts. Starting with the September 2009 election, board members are elected to four year terms. Elections will be held in odd numbered years. Board member terms are staggered, two or three board positions will be determined in an election. For information concerning candidacy for the School Board, please contact Board Secretary at 927-3515, ext. 402.

Precinct #1

Dundee Community Center, Dundee, for the City of Dundee and that part of Richland Township that is in said district.

Precinct #2

Masonville Fire Station, Masonville, for the City of Masonville and that part of Coffin's Grove Township that is in said district.

Precinct #3

Ryan City Hall, Ryan, for the City of Ryan and that part of Adams Township and Hazel Green Township that is in said district.

Precinct #4

Seibert Park Memorial Hall, Manchester, for the Third Ward of Manchester and that part of Oneida Township, Prairie Township, Milo Township, and Delaware Township that is in said district.

Precinct #5

Greeley Fire Station, Greeley, for the City of Greeley and that part of Honey Creek Township and Elk Township that is in said district.

Precinct #6

Manchester Fire Station, Manchester, for the First and Second Wards of Manchester.

School Board Meetings

The West Delaware Board of Education meets on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m., in Lambert Elementary Commons, which is located at 1001 Doctor Street, Manchester, Iowa.
