hISTORY OF Hawk Football!
School began in Manchester in 1869. The football field was located behind where Stephens Motors is currently until 1911. The football field was moved to east of the high school in 1912 and remained there till 1929, and then Brown Field came to be in 1930 thanks to Clarence A. Brown and his sister Mildred Brown Cobb. The first game played on Brown Field was won by the Manhawks by a margain of 45-0 over Arlington.
